O-Temper (Fully Annealed State): This is the base temper for aluminum alloys, characterized by maximum ductility and minimum strength. The O-temper process involves heating cold-processed aluminum above its recrystallization temperature, holding it there for a sufficient period, and then cooling it slowly. This allows the distorted crystal lattice—caused by process hardening—to fully recover and eliminates residual stresses, resulting in a uniform, stress-free, equiaxed grain structure.

H112: is a temper designation for aluminum alloys. It refers to material that, after being formed via hot processing (such as extrusion or rolling), acquires a degree of strain hardening through natural aging. It requires no additional specialized cold work hardening or heat treatment for strengthening.

T4 Temper: first solid solution heat treatment, then complete natural cooling and natural aging at room temperature to reach a stable state; no additional artificial aging.

T5 Temper: After being formed at high temperatures in the extrusion press, the aluminum profile is rapidly cooled via air quenching without undergoing solid solution treatment; then it go under artificial aging at lower temperatures for strengthening. This is the mainstream of mass-production temper for 6063 profiles.

T6 Temper: The aluminum is first heated to 520–540℃ to achieve complete solid solution treatment, followed by rapid water quenching to lock in the supersaturated solid solution; it then undergoes high-temperature artificial aging to allow the Mg2Si strengthening phase to precipitate fully, thereby maximizing strength.
